The Inquiry of Master Mathias
Master Mathias seeks clarity regarding the authorship of the Apocalypse and the timing of the Antichrist.
When Master Mathias from the kingdom of Sweden, a Bible commentator, was writing his commentary on the Apocalypse, he once asked the bride to find out in the spirit about the time of the Antichrist and whether the Apocalypse was written by blessed John, since many held the opposite view.
The Testimony of Saint John
The bride receives a vision of Saint John, who confirms he wrote the Apocalypse under divine inspiration.
As she prayed about this, she was caught up in the Spirit and saw a figure who appeared anointed with oil, yet shining with a great radiance. Christ spoke to her and said, "Give your testimony: who wrote the Apocalypse?" He answered, "I am John, the one to whom you entrusted your mother on the cross." You, Lord, inspired me with its mysteries, and I wrote them for the consolation of those to come, so that your faithful might not be overturned by future trials."
The Spirit of Truth in Scripture
Christ confirms that Master Mathias is guided by the same Holy Spirit that inspired the biblical authors.
The Lord said to the bride, "Look, daughter, I tell you that just as John wrote about the future things he saw through my Spirit, so Mathias, your confessor and father, understands and writes the spiritual truth of Sacred Scripture by that same Spirit." Furthermore, tell this teacher of yours—whom I have made a teacher—that there are many Antichrists. But I will reveal to him through you how and when that cursed Antichrist will come.

Cui loquens Christus dixit: "Dic testimonium, quis composuit Apocalipsim."
Respondit ille: "Ego sum Iohannes, cui in cruce assignasti matrem tuam.
