I bless you and give thanks to you, Lord Jesus Christ, strength of God and wisdom of the Father, for your glorious signs and extraordinary miracles, by which you magnificently illuminated the world and invited the minds of unbelievers to believe in you, making it clear through open testimonies and radiant signs, because you are Christ, the Son of the living God, who came into this world for the redemption of humanity. I praise and honor you for your immense love, because you have shown yourself so generous and kind to all people that both the poor and the weak, even the most wretched sinners, dared to approach you, and you granted them the freedom to speak to you and to touch you. Blessed are your eyes, brighter than the sun, which you compassionately lifted over the crowds coming to you, for whom you felt such great pity that you wouldn't let them leave for their homes without being fed, but instead, from a few loaves of bread and some small fish, you miraculously satisfied thousands of people time and again. Blessed are your venerable hands, which you eagerly extended over various sick people, and with the touch of your most sacred body, you quickly drove away all infirmity and sickness. Blessed are your most beautiful feet, often weary and covered in dust for the sake of the salvation of souls, with which you walked through the earth, scattering the word of life abundantly, now in the mountains, now in the open fields, teaching openly: you who also performed many miracles as a testimony to your sacred doctrine, healing the paralytics, giving sight to the blind, cleansing the lepers, casting out demons, and raising the dead. O glorious Jesus, light of the world and salvation of the people of Israel, life, strength, and glory of ours, look upon my weakness with mercy and cast out all passion from my heart. Illuminate my inner eyes, so that I may see the light of heaven. Open the ears of my understanding, so that I may hear what you speak in me, my God. Lift me up from the pit of acedia, so that I may walk from strength to strength. Make my feet straight in your commandments, and strengthen my hands for the diligent work. Cleanse me from the leprosy of the flesh, heal me from the anger of rage, suppress the swelling of pride, rescue me from the sting of envy, defend me from the gluttony of the belly, drive away the plague of greed, and crush the movements of lust. These are indeed the most serious afflictions of a sick soul and the hidden disturbances of demons that need to be healed by you, Lord Jesus, and expelled by the power of your word. No one can heal these spiritual wounds or work the inner signs of holiness unless you alone, Almighty God, who say it, make it happen immediately. You receive it, and without delay your word is fulfilled. Say to my soul: Be cleansed, and it will be cleansed. Say to the unclean spirit that often tempts me: Leave this person and do not enter him again. Say to my soul in every trouble: 'I am your salvation; do not be afraid.' Say just this one word, and my soul will be healed.
