XXXI. De claritate beatorum.

XXXI. De claritate beatorum.

But even in that clarity, I felt an even greater and more infinite brightness. As I tried to understand it, I realized that the brilliance of its light contained the beauty of all adornments, the delights of delights, and the joys of joys of the entire blessedness that exists in it; yet neither eye has seen, nor ear has heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, while it remains in fragile and corruptible flesh. Therefore, there is also a certain seal set against me, through which much greater and more numerous joys are hidden from me than I had seen before. And so, that same vision was reflected in me. And through the living Spirit, I saw and understood these things.

Sicque idem visus in me reverberatus est.
