LXVm. Corpus pro peccatis affligatur
LXVm. Corpus pro peccatis affligatur
Therefore, while a person lives in this world and while they are able to do both good and evil, they should impose upon their body a burden for their sins, so that they may shake off the weight of their faults before the judgment of their master, and be cleansed from their filth, finding not the bitterness of punishment, but the sweetness of life. The Master considers the qualities and sins of those under His care. The Master considers the strength and weakness of souls. He will consider the faults of his subordinates and their qualities, and he will also see the intention behind their actions, and for each penitent, he will stand according to the nature of that person and the degree of their sin, as well as the measure of their repentance.
