LV. De poenitentia pro inconstantia.

And I saw and understood these things. And from that living light, I heard a voice speaking to me again: "What you see is true." However, those who encourage others to abandon the worst spirits of inconstancy, wishing to flee from their own faults and escape their punishments, if they are worldly, should gather themselves to a spiritual life; or if they are spiritual, they should more strictly discipline themselves in their own way of life with all the truth's discipline, so that they may cast off the wickedness of this fault. For this reason, it speaks among people, saying:
