XXXVIIII. Quod zelus Dei adversus Diabolum invincibilis est.
XXXVIIII. Quod zelus Dei adversus Diabolum invincibilis est.
But the aforementioned wrath cries out against those vices that have been mentioned, because the zeal of God is invincible against the suggestions of the evil spirit, from which they are wearied in manifest temptations, and He restrains and exterminates them in the diabolical iniquities by the power of the heavenly Judge. Just as the ancient invader and certain members of his own, casting aside true justice, are consumed by divine fiery vengeance and counted as nothing, because against all the arts of their snares, which they have in all evils, the zeal of God is strong and invincible, nor will they be able to resist, because light will overcome darkness and will destroy the things that are good, since all things are subject to God.
