XXXIII. Septem vitia septem donis Spiritus Sancti opposita.
In that foreboding mist, where various kinds of vices exist, as has been previously mentioned, you now see seven vices represented in such images. This means that in the density of wickedness and infidelity, where many forms and different kinds of the worst and most impure vices are found, as stated above, you can also see all these vices manifesting in their most nefarious practices, as many as the gifts of the Holy Spirit are named, which they attempt to resist in every way; but they will not prevail, because the power of God completely overcomes the wickedness of the devil.

Quod autem in praefata nebula, in qua multimoda genera vitiorum sunt, ut praedictum est, etiam septem vitia nunc in hujusmodi imaginibus vides, hoc est quod in densitate nequitiae infidelitatis, in qua multae formae et diversum genus pessimorum et immundorum vitiorum est, ut superius praefatum est, etiam tot vitia in nequissimis artibus suis apparent, quot dona Sancti Spiritus nominantur, quae eisdem donis omnibus modis resistere attentant; sed tamen non praevalebunt, quia virtus Dei perversitatem Diaboli omnino exsuperat.
