XXXI. De creaturis et summa heatitudine

XXXI. De creaturis et summa heatitudine

As long as the temporal creation continues to assist humanity in the world, producing things suitable for human use, a person will not see the greatness and perfection of eternal joys; because the elements interact with humans, and humans interact with them in the world. But when the end of the world comes, and creation falls into the dryness of temporal decay, and it senses its own transformation, the chosen ones will see their Creator and the rewarder of good deeds in the life of eternity and the fullness of joy, with the highest bliss, because then they will have no care and no need for the elements and temporal things anymore, since they will be in eternity and will cling to God in the blessed life, as it is written:
