XXXII. Mysieria veteris et novi Testamenti conira infideles parantur.
But in the clear writings drawn from the depth of the aforementioned books, there are many scriptures compiled within them, since reason proposes the mysteries of the Old and New Testaments gathered in the splendor of God's goodness for explanation and confirmation, as faithful and prudent people, drawing from Catholic teachings, prepare paths of righteousness against the darkness of unbelief and against the Devil himself; and they do this in their thirst for the Scriptures, where they draw them out with great desire, nor do they cease from this until they fill every conscience of their hearts through them, just as God did not cease from His work until He brought it to perfection. For when they examine the Scriptures closely and write them down with care, they honor God and glorify His name, because in what people build, they also seek the honor of God, as the Psalmist David says.✦
