XXXIII. David ad eamdem rem.

All the nations you have made will come and bow down before you, Lord, and glorify your name, for you alone are great, doing wonders; you are God alone. Whose sense is such. God created all creatures, and He allowed man to work, so that he might carry out his tasks; for humans do work, shape, and command. For they operate in creatures, and according to them, they shape other things as they wish, yet they cannot give spirit to those things; and to those they oversee, they impose commands. And because God created man and gave him life through the breath of His spirit, all nations that have come from Adam, as creations of God, will come to Him willingly, seeking to worship before the same Lord, where they call upon His name, when they feel Him, since they cannot depart from Him, just as a son cannot ignore who his father is. And so they glorify the name of God when they cry out to Him and invoke Him. But some people think they have God's work in their hands, and they call that work God’s, yet this is the counsel of the Devil, which leads them to inflate their own importance. These people think they glorify the name of God, but they don't know God; they want to have God, even though they don't truly possess Him. And so, both the old and the new Law have been given to humanity, so that by believing, seeing, and worshiping, a person may come to know God. In these two areas, wise philosophers have drawn wisdom, nor did their vessels cease to be filled with it, which greatly pleased God, just as everything He had made pleased Him. Therefore, the Lord is great in His miracles, great also in the heavenly virtues, and He performs wonders, where the great works of His creation shine in magnificent beauty. For God made Noah enter the ark, showed Abraham many good things, and also gave the Law to Moses; in His Son, He brought believers to life: these are great and marvelous things, so that the faithful seek them with devotion, and they do not cease to explore the profound depths within them; for they come from God, and He who made them is the only God, because all good things originate from Him and return to Him; for when God created man, He made him to walk in the spirit of life, from which he frequently returns to Him.
