LVII. Fideles CMristum coelestia docentem sequuntur
But just as the moon, in which the Capricorn rises, gradually follows the sun both in its approach and retreat, so the Church, having conquered death, advances toward spiritual matters and returns to worldly affairs, following with great victory; for the faithful have followed the Son of God teaching from heaven and conversing with men in various ways, even as they have delivered their bodies to many sufferings for Christ.

Quod autem luna, in qua capricornus ost, solem in praecedendo et in recedendo cum eodem capricomo paulatim sequitur, hoc est quod Ecclesia, morte devicta, mysteriura Dei, procedens ad spiritalia et rediens ad saecularia, cum magna victoria subsequitur, quoniam Filium Dei coelestia docentem et cum hominibus conversantem fideles oranibus modis subsecuti sunt, cum etiam corpus pro Christo ad multa supplicia tradiderunt.
