LV. Signum victoriae in Ecclesia

And in the moon, Capricorn is, that is, in the Church, gathered from every side against the ancient serpent, a sign of victory, where the Devil has been overcome in all things. Therefore, the same sun shines above the heavens and in the sky, as well as on the earth and beneath the earth, because it is a hidden mystery that the Son of God was incarnate, and it is above all heavenly secrets; so that even in the heavenly mysteries, which are known only to the heavens, it appears, and it works many miracles in the creatures of the earth, and it also penetrates the abyss with the splendor of its power. And so it proceeds from its rising, because the same mystery has appeared in the emergence of virtues, when virtues that had not been seen before were brought forth; and it returns by declining, with a judicial sentence that bends the wickedness of vices to nothingness.
