What comfort does the resurrection of the dead give you? After this life, I will be raised by the power of Christ and will come to Christ, my Lord. He will give me a share in His glory.
The Promise of Eternal Life
The believer experiences the foretaste of eternal joy now and looks forward to perfect, unending happiness with God.
What comforts you about the promise of eternal life? Even now, I feel the beginning of eternal joy in my heart. After this life, I will possess perfect happiness, which no eye has seen and no ear has heard, and which has never entered into the heart of any human being, to praise God eternally in it.

Was tröstet dich die»Auferstehung der Toten«? Nach diesem Leben werde ich durch die Kraft Christi auferweckt werden und zu Christus, meinem Herrn, kommen. Er wird mir Anteil geben an seiner Herrlichkeit.
Was tröstet dich die Verheißung des ewigen Lebens? Schon jetzt empfinde ich den Anfang der ewigen Freude in meinem Herzen. Nach diesem Leben aber werde ich vollkommene Seligkeit besitzen, die kein Auge gesehen und kein Ohr gehört hat und in keines Menschen Herz je gekommen ist, Gott ewiglich darin zu preisen.
