The Unique Sonship of Christ
This section distinguishes between the eternal, natural sonship of Jesus and the adoptive sonship of believers.
Why is Jesus Christ called the "only-begotten Son of God" when we are also children of God? Christ alone is, from eternity, by nature the Son of God. But we are accepted as children of God by grace, for His sake.
The Lordship of the Redeemer
This section explains that Christ is called 'our Lord' because He purchased us with His own blood.
Why do you call him "our Lord"? He has redeemed us, body and soul, from sin and from all the power of the devil, to be his own possession—not with gold or silver, but with his precious blood, by giving his life for us.

Warum nennst du ihn»unseren Herrn«? Er hat uns mit Leib und Seele von der Sünde und aus aller Gewalt des Teufels sich zum Eigentum erlöst und erkauft, nicht mit Gold oder Silber, sondern mit seinem teuren Blut, indem er sein Leben für uns gab.
