The eternal Son of God, who is and remains true and eternal God, has assumed true human nature from the flesh and blood of the Virgin Mary through the working of the Holy Spirit, so that he is also the true descendant of David, equal to his brothers and sisters in every way, yet without sin.

Der ewige Sohn Gottes, der wahrer und ewiger Gott ist und bleibt, hat durch Wirkung des Heiligen Geistes wahre menschliche Natur aus dem Fleisch und Blut der Jungfrau Maria angenommen, so dass er auch der wahre Nachkomme Davids ist, seinen Schwestern und Brüdern in allem gleich, doch ohne Sünde.
Was nützt es dir, dass er durch den Heiligen Geist empfangen und von der Jungfrau Maria geboren ist? Er ist unser Mittler, und er bedeckt vor Gottes Angesicht mit seiner Unschuld und vollkommenen Heiligkeit meine Sünde, in der ich immer schon lebe.
