De vastacione territorii Pokime terre Sudoivie.
Raid on Pokimame and the Vanishing Ice
Brother Conrad of Tirberg leads a devastating raid into Pokimame, and the returning army crosses a frozen lake that melts overnight, erasing all trace of their passage.
At this time, by order of the master, Brother Conrad of Tirberg the Younger, marshal of the land of Prussia, having gathered the full strength of his army, entered the territory of Sudovia called Pokimame, and having carried out great destruction by fire and plunder, with many men captured and killed, as he was returning he crossed the ice of that lake — which is called Nogothin — with his own army after the hour of evening. But when morning came, the ice had melted, so that no trace of its surface was visible.
