LX. O Euchari, columba (De sancto Euchario)
The Dove's Gift and the Wheel of Vision
Eucharius receives the dove's power through Ezekiel's wheel vision, then continues to work signs even when the bodily vision fades into shadow.
Response: O Eucharius, the dove gave you the power of that one in signs, who once cried out in the midst of the wheel.✦ When you no longer saw him with bodily eyes, you accomplished full signs in that one's shadow.
Sealed Among the Cherubim
Eucharius shines in the breast of the one he contemplated and is sealed among the cherubim, yet still works signs in shadow when bodily sight is gone.
Verse: And so you shone in that one's breast and made your seal among the cherubim.✦ When you no longer saw him with bodily eyes, you accomplished full signs in that one's shadow.

Versus: Et sic in pectore eius fulsisti ac in cherubin sigillum fecisti. Quem cum amplius corporaliter non vidisti, plena signa in umbra illius perfecisti.
