XXXI. O vos imitatores (De confessioribus)
The Splendor of Imitators
Those who imitate Christ shine with great splendor, loosing and binding in God while adorning both the pure and the obscure and remitting heavy burdens.
Response: O you, imitators of that sublime person, in this most precious and most glorious signification — O how great is your splendor! — where a man goes forth, loosing and binding in God, the sluggish and the strangers. Also adorning the white and the black, and remitting great burdens.
Angelic Duties and Honor
Confessors hold angelic duties and discern the strongest foundations, earning great honor, while again adorning the pure and obscure and remitting great burdens.
Verse: For you hold the duties of the angelic order, and you foreknow the strongest foundations wherever they are to be established, whence great is your honor. Also adorning the white and the black, and remitting great burdens.

Responsum: O vos imitatores excelse persone in preciosissima et gloriosissima significatione, o quam magnus est vester ornatus, ubi homo procedit solvens et stringens in deo pigros et peregrinos. Etiam ornans candidos et nigros et magna onera remittens. Versus: Nam et angelici ordinis officia habetis et fortissima fundamenta prescitis, ubicumque constituenda sunt, unde magnus est vester honor.
