Chapter 101Revel.6.101

The Father's Call to the Captive

Christ commissions the bride to reveal the ingratitude of the nations and the enduring patience of God.

The Son speaks to the bride, saying: "I am like a master whose children an enemy had so bewitched and beaten down that, glorying in their captivity, they would not even lift their eyes to their father or their inheritance." So, write down what you hear from me and send it to my children and friends, so they can sow it among the nations, in case they might want to recognize their own ingratitude and my patience. For I, God, intend to rise up and show the nations my justice and my love.
