First, I reach out to my chosen ones in heaven and on earth, honoring and comforting them. Second, I reach out over the malice of men, patiently and mercifully restraining them so they can't do as much evil as they intend.
The Oil of Truth
Christ assures the bride that her words are like oil, which must be pressed and refined to magnify God's honor.
So don't be afraid, because no one will be able to weaken my words; they will reach the place and the people that please me. Even so, you should know that these words are like oil. That is why they must be worked over, trampled, and pressed—sometimes by the envious, sometimes by those who want to know, and sometimes by those looking for an excuse—so that my honor and patience may be magnified.
