Chapter 100Revel.6.100

The Unshakable Word

The bride fears for the integrity of her revelations, prompting a divine response from Christ.

The bride was afraid that the words of these books, which had been revealed to her by God, might be weakened and slandered by envious and malicious people. As she prayed about this, Christ spoke to her, saying:

The Two Arms of God

Christ describes his dual action of comforting the faithful and restraining the malice of the wicked.

I have two arms: with one I embrace heaven and everything in it, and with the other I embrace the earth and the sea. First, I reach out to my chosen ones in heaven and on earth, honoring and comforting them. Second, I reach out over the malice of men, patiently and mercifully restraining them so they can't do as much evil as they intend.

The Oil of Truth

Christ assures the bride that her words are like oil, which must be pressed and refined to magnify God's honor.

So don't be afraid, because no one will be able to weaken my words; they will reach the place and the people that please me. Even so, you should know that these words are like oil. That is why they must be worked over, trampled, and pressed—sometimes by the envious, sometimes by those who want to know, and sometimes by those looking for an excuse—so that my honor and patience may be magnified.
