The Unity of Mother and Son

Blessed are you, God, who came to the Virgin with the joy of her soul and all her members, and who, with the joy of all her members, came forth from her without sin. Blessed are you, God, who gladdened Mary the Virgin, your mother, with frequent consolations after your ascension, and visited her by consoling her yourself. Blessed are you, God, who assumed the body and soul of Mary the Virgin, your mother, into heaven, and honorably placed her above all the angels, near your divinity. Have mercy on me because of her prayers!
