Hosanna in the Highest
A liturgical acclamation of praise to God.
Hosanna in the highest.
Remember Me in Your Salvation
A prayer for remembrance, future glory, and the joy of being among the blessed at the judgment.
Remember me, Lord, in the favor you show your people; visit me with your salvation, so that I may see the goodness of your chosen ones, rejoice in the joy of your nation, and praise you along with your inheritance.1 But there's a glory still to be revealed in the time to come.2 For there are those who will see the face of the coming Judge, filled with joy. Job 32.3 26. At4 They will be set at the right hand; they will hear that sweetest voice: 'Come, you who are blessed.' They will be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds.
Entering into Joy and the Lowest Place
A contemplation of the blessed entering into joy and a humble petition for the lowest place among them.
They will enter into joy, Matt.✦ 25. 21. They will enjoy the vision of him; they will always be with him. These alone are the blessed among the children of men.5 Oh! Give me, the lowest of all, the lowest place under their feet, under the feet of your elect.6 the lowest of them.7 So that this may come about,

HOSANNA IN EXCELSIS.
MEMENTO mei, Domine, in beneplacito populi tui, Visita me in salutari tuo, Ad videndum in bonitate Electorum tuorum, Ad letandum in letitia gentis tue, Ad laudandum te cum hzereditate tua. Est autem gloria i futuro revelanda. Sunt enim qui venientis Judicis Vultum videbunt hilarem, Job. xxxii. 26. A. dextris collocabuntur, Audient suavissimam vocem, VENiTE, BENEDICTI. Rapientur in occursum Domini in nubibus.
Intrabunt in gaudium, Matt. xxv. 21. Fruentur ejus visione, Semper cum eo erunt. Hi sol, soli sunt hi beati in filis hominum. Oh! Da mihi infimo locum infimum sub pedes illorum ; Sub pedes electorum tuorum,
mfimi ex illis.

Scripture echoes
- ↩Matt.25.21 — His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'
Notes
- 1 ↩Normalized surface shows hzereditate, letandum/letitia, and tue; translated as haereditate, laetandum/laetitia, and tuae (heritage; rejoice/joy; your).
- 2 ↩Latin reads 'gloria i futuro'; most plausible intended reading is 'gloria in futuro' (in the future / age to come).
- 3 ↩Chapter numeral only; with s3 and s5 forms the citation Job xxxii. 26. Content of s3 better matches Job 33:26 than 32:26.
- 4 ↩Fragmentary preposition A from the phrase A dextris; the rest of the clause is in the next sentence.
- 5 ↩Printed/OCR Latin reads 'Hi sol, soli sunt hi beati in filis hominum.' Most plausible intended sense is 'Hi soli sunt beati in filiis hominum' (or with emphatic hi): 'These alone are the blessed among the children of men.' 'filis' taken as filiis.
- 6 ↩infimo is taken as agreeing with the petitioner (to me, the lowest), paralleling locum infimum (the lowest place). Classical grammar would prefer sub pedibus; sense under their feet is clear.
- 7 ↩Source reads 'mfimi ex illis.' Taken as intended 'infimi ex illis' (OCR/typo: infimi → mfimi), continuing the preceding petition for the lowest place under the feet of the elect.
