At your feet. I adore you and kiss your beautiful feet, Lord Jesus Christ, who were pierced by the blows of the one hard nail, and you poured out your precious blood in great quantity; I seek to be forgiven for whatever I may have done while standing or walking. Hail Mary. To your legs, O beautiful and humble knees of my Lord Jesus Christ, which often bowed and lay prostrate in prayer on the bare ground, and which were troubled in great suffering and vexed by harsh trials, I humbly adore you and kiss you, pleading that you may more readily forgive me whenever I have been lazy and undevout in the service of God. Hail Mary. To the womb. I adore you, Lord Jesus Christ, who was born of the Virgin Mary, and who suffered many blows; I humbly ask you to grant me relief whenever I have cared for my body more than necessity required. Hail Mary. To the side. O most worthy side of my Lord Jesus Christ, in which the wound of divine love is most fully revealed, I adore you especially and kiss you deeply, pleading for forgiveness whenever I have harmed brotherly love and grown cold in heavenly love. Hail Mary. To you, O most patient back of my Lord Jesus Christ, who was ready to carry the wood of life and all the burdens of sin without contradiction, enduring even the hardest blows of the scourges, I devote myself and kiss you reverently, praying for me to be forgiven whenever I have borne the impending burdens less patiently. Hail Mary. Hail Mary. O venerable hands of my Lord Jesus Christ, stretched out further on the cross and pierced with heavy iron nails, I adore you faithfully and kiss you with tears, asking that whatever I have done illicitly in action or contact may be wiped away from me. Hail Mary. To the heart. O most pure heart of my Lord Jesus Christ, in which no stain of sin ever existed or could enter, upon which the blessed John the Apostle reclined at the Last Supper, I adore you sincerely and kiss you affectionately, begging that I may be fully cleansed of whatever I have contracted through filthy thoughts. Hail Mary. To the collar. O my Lord Jesus Christ, your pale and emaciated neck, often weakened by hunger and thirst, was never adorned with curiosity nor extended in vain, but was humbly subjected to your Father and Mother, which was harshly struck during your Passion. I adore you humbly and kiss you lovingly, praying for the forgiveness of whatever I have done for the sake of ostentation. Hail Mary. O sweetest mouth of my Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the word of salvation came into the world, which was defiled by the saliva of the Jews and soured by the cup of vinegar, I adore you and kiss you kindly, begging for forgiveness whenever I have sinned by eating, drinking, or speaking. Hail Mary. To Your face. O glorious face of my Lord Jesus Christ, full of friendly reverence, shamefully spat upon by the Jews, wickedly struck, and veiled in mockery, I adore you elegantly and kiss you affectionately, asking that you grant me indulgence whenever I offend the light of your serenity. Hail Mary. To the ears. O blessed ears of my Lord Jesus Christ, which no breath of vanity has touched, nor has any ridiculous or harmful speech altered from the state of righteousness, I honor you reverently and kiss you, praying that whatever vanity I have absorbed through illicit hearing may be swiftly removed from me. Hail Mary. To the eyes. O most radiant eyes of my Lord Jesus Christ, free me from all impure desires and from the violence of death that obscures me, from which a sweet rain of tears often flows. I adore you sincerely and kiss you gently, begging you to grant me mercy for every stain sought from harmful sight. Hail Mary. O sublime and reverend head of my Lord Jesus Christ, crowned with the sharpest thorns pressed upon your brow, whose surrounding hair is stained with flowing blood and consecrated, I adore you with the angels and all powers, and I kiss you more dearly than all the sacred places of your wounds, and I fervently pray that you absolve me from all the thorns of my sins and deem me worthy to be counted among the least of your elect.
