You rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sit at the right hand of God the Father; and you look upon the humble prayers of those who call on you with all their heart. Incline your ear and hear the humble prayer that I, your unworthy servant, offer to you for all your people as a fragrant spiritual offering.✦✦✦
For the Church and the Nation
A petition for the preservation of the Church and the peace of the nation.
First, remember your Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, which you acquired with your precious Blood. Establish and strengthen her; extend and increase her; grant her peace; and preserve her forever, unconquered by the gates of hell. Calm the divisions among the Churches, put an end to the disturbances of the pagan nations, and swiftly destroy and uproot the rising of heresies. By the power of your Holy Spirit, bring them to nothing.✦✦ Save and have mercy, O Lord, on our God-protected country, its authorities, and its armed forces. Guard their realm in peace, place every enemy and adversary beneath the feet of the Orthodox, and speak peaceful and gracious purposes into their hearts concerning Your Holy Church and all Your people, so that we may live a quiet and peaceful life in the true faith, with all godliness and purity.
For the Clergy and Loved Ones
Intercession for the spiritual hierarchy, spiritual fathers, and personal family.
Save, O Lord, and have mercy on our great lord and father, His Holiness Patriarch (name); the Most Reverend Orthodox metropolitans, archbishops, and bishops; the priests and deacons; and all the clergy whom You have appointed to shepherd Your flock endowed with reason; and through their prayers, have mercy on me, a sinner, and save me.1 Lord, save my spiritual father (name) and have mercy on him, and through his holy prayers, forgive my sins. Lord, save and have mercy on my spiritual father (name), my parents (names), my relatives (names), everyone close to my family, and my friends; grant them your earthly blessings and your blessings from above.
For the Ascetics and the Suffering
A plea for those dedicated to monastic life and those enduring various forms of hardship or persecution.
Save, O Lord, and have mercy, according to the abundance of Your compassion, on all priest-monks, monks and nuns, and all who live in virginity, reverence, and fasting—in monasteries, deserts, caves, mountains, on pillars, in seclusion, among clefts in the rocks, on islands of the sea, and in every place under Your rule—living in the true faith, serving You devoutly, and praying to You. Lighten their burdens, comfort them in their sorrow, and give them strength and courage for their spiritual struggle in You; and through their prayers, grant me forgiveness of my sins.✦ Lord, save and have mercy on the old and the young, the poor, orphans, and widows, and everyone who is sick or grieving, in hardship or distress, under siege or in captivity, in prison or exile, and especially your servants who are persecuted for your sake and for the Orthodox faith by godless nations, apostates, and heretics. Remember them, visit them, strengthen them, and comfort them; and soon, by your power, grant them relief, freedom, and deliverance.
For Benefactors and All People
Prayers for those who provide support, travelers, and those led astray by the petitioner's own sins.
Save, Lord, and have mercy on those who do good to us, show us compassion, provide us with food, give us alms, ask us—unworthy as we are—to pray for them, and give us rest. Show them your mercy, granting them everything they ask for that leads to salvation and the gift of eternal blessings. Save, O Lord, and have mercy on those sent away in service, those who are traveling, our fathers and brothers, and all Orthodox Christians. Lord, save and have mercy on those I led astray through my foolishness, those I turned away from the path of salvation and led into evil and shameful deeds; by Your divine providence, bring them back again to the path of salvation.
For Enemies and the Erring
A final petition for those who cause harm and those who have departed from the truth.
Lord, save and have mercy on those who hate me, wrong me, and cause me trouble; don't let them perish because of me, a sinner. Enlighten those who have fallen away from the Orthodox faith and been blinded by destructive heresies with the light of knowing You, and count them among the members of Your Holy, Apostolic, and Catholic Church.

Помяни, Господи Иисусе Христе, Боже наш, милости и щедроты Твоя от века сущия, ихже ради и вочеловечился еси, и распятие и смерть, спасения ради право в Тя верующих, претерпети изволил еси; и воскрес из мертвых, вознеслся еси на небеса и седиши одесную Бога Отца, и призираеши на смиренныя мольбы всем сердцем призывающих Тя: приклони ухо Твое, и услыши смиренное моление мене, непотребнаго раба Твоего, в воню благоухания духовнаго, Тебе за вся люди Твоя приносящаго.
