Saved by Grace through Faith

My most compassionate and all-merciful God, Lord Jesus Christ, in Your great love You came down and took on flesh so that You might save everyone. And again, Savior, I beg You: save me by grace. For if You save me because of my works, it isn't grace or a gift, but rather a debt. Yes, You are abundant in compassion and beyond words in mercy! For You said, my Christ, “Whoever believes in Me will live and will never see death.”1 If, then, faith in You saves those who have lost all hope, I believe: save me, for You are my God and Creator. But, my God, let faith be credited to me in place of works, for You will find no works at all that can justify me. Instead, let this faith of mine be enough in place of everything; let it answer for me, let it justify me, and let it make me a sharer in Your eternal glory.2 Then Satan won't seize me and boast, O Word, that he has torn me from Your hand and protection. But whether I want it or not, save me, Christ my Savior. Come quickly—quickly, for I am perishing! For You have been my God from my mother's womb.34
A Vow of Devoted Service
The prayer concludes with a commitment to love and serve God with the same intensity once directed toward sin.
Grant me, Lord, to love you now as deeply as I once loved that very sin, and to serve you again earnestly and without laziness, as I once served the deceitful Satan. Above all else, I will serve you, my Lord and God, Jesus Christ, for all the days of my life, now and always, forever and ever. Amen.

Многоми́лостиве и Всеми́лостиве Бо́же мой, Го́споди Иису́се Христе́, мно́гия ра́ди любве́ сшел и воплоти́лся еси́, я́ко да спасе́ши всех. И па́ки, Спа́се, спаси́ мя по благодати, молю́ Тя; а́ще бо от дел спасе́ши мя, несть се благода́ть, и дар, но долг па́че. Ей, мно́гий в щедро́тах и неизрече́нный в ми́лости!
