X. Responsum coelestis Desiderii.
X. Responsum coelestis Desiderii.
But again, from that troubled cloud, I heard voices calling out: "O you who plunder, what do you say?" So look at the bones of the dead, which lie in the graves, and consider what they do. They do nothing at all, except lie in decay. So you don't do anything except live carelessly, because you want to live without God's grace, and you neither desire it nor seek God in all your worries. But I dwell in the highest places, and I find grace in each of the creatures, because I am life and vitality in all good works, and a necklace of virtues. The joy and understanding of God's love, and the building up of all my desires, are what I am, because I do whatever God wants, and I soar with the wings of good will above the stars of heaven, so that I fulfill God's will in all His righteousness. And so I also ascend above the mountains of Bethel, where I gaze upon the works of God face to face, so that I neither seek, nor desire, nor want anything other than what is holy, from which I am the psalter and the harp of His joy. But in this way, I am heavenly in all things.
