But the wing that is at his chest is somewhat divided into two parts at the tip of its extremity, because the protection of secret depth inclines toward both the old and the new Testament, as true teachers multiply mystical truths in the prophets and in the Gospel with mystical words; so that even in the old Law, various purifications sanctified the earth outwardly in a carnal way, but in the new, through the Son of God, heaven is clarified by many and various wonders of righteous and spiritual justifications.

Sed ala, quae ad pectus ipsius est, in summitate extremitatis suae in duas partes aliquantum divisa est, quoniam protectio secretae profunditatis in ortu principii sui ad vetus et ad novum Testamentum inclinatur, cum veri doctores, in prophetis et in Evangelio, in mysticis verbis mystica raysteria multiplicant; ita quod etiam in veteri Lege diversis purificationibus terra exterius carnaliter sanctificabatur, in nova autem per Filium Dei, coelum multis et variis prodigiis rectarum et spiritualium justificationum clarificatur.
