And again I heard a voice from heaven saying: God, opposing the darkness of diabolical snares with many signs and various punishments, has so clouded the madness of the rising vices that they will not be able to resist the blessedness of the citizens of heaven, where He, looking down from heaven, has fortified His faithful ones with all holiness. Therefore, you see that the aforementioned man turns toward the West, so that he looks both to the West and to the North, because he is a strong warrior standing firm against the Devil; this he has always had in his ancient counsel, that he produces all the instruments of the old and new Testament, and all the resources of good works against the darkness of the falling ruin, and against the foolish cold of ignorance.

Et iterum audivi vocem de coelo dicentem: Deus, multis signis et diversis castigationibus, tenebris diabolicarum insidiarum se opponens, insanias insurgentium vitiorum ita obnubilavit, quod beatitudini supcrnorum civium resistere non poterunt, ubi ipse de coelo prospiciens, fldeles suos omni sanctitate munivit.
Unde vides quod praedictus vir ad Occidentem se convertit, ita quod et ad Occidentem et ad Septentrionem aspicit, quoniam ipse fortis praeliator contra Diabolum fortiter stans, hoc in antiquo consilio suo semper habuit, quod adversus tenebras cadentis ruinae, ac contra stultum frigus ignorantiae omnia instrumenta veteris et novi Testamenti, ac cunctas facultates bonorum operum producit.
