LXXXXV. Poenitentia ignavorum
And I heard a voice from the living light saying to me again: "What you see is true; and as you see it, so it is." But those who love laziness do not serve God either diligently or faithfully; if they don't want to be mocked by these spirits, and if they want to be freed from these passions, they should punish themselves according to the degree of their neglect, using sackcloth, and they should whip themselves, afflict themselves with fasting, care for the poor, and fulfill this command of their leader.

Et vocem de praefata vivente luce iterum mihi dicentem audivi: Haec quae vides, vera sunt; et ut ea vides, ita sunt.
Homines autem qui ignaviam diligunt, nec Deo strenue, nec fideliter serviunt, si ab his spiritibus derideri noluerinl, et si his passionibus absolvi voluerint, secundum qualitatem neglectus sui cilicio se castigent, et flagellis se puniant, jejuniis etiam se affligant, et pauperes pascant, et hoc praecepto ductoris sui compleant.
