XLV. Deus ab angelis et hominibus laudandus.
XLV. Deus ab angelis et hominibus laudandus.
The multitude of angels praises the good works of humans, and for this reason, their praises never cease, neither in hours nor moments, but frequently resound in them; nor does God make an end of them, for He desires to be praised by angels, so that their glory may be multiplied, and this pleases Him. Therefore, God also wants the good works of the saints to be praised and revealed by the angels, because humanity is created in the image and likeness of God; and for this reason, He desires that the good works of people be praised before Him by the angels. But since a person is sustained by the help of God, He also wants to be praised by humans, just as He is by angels, so that their glory may be magnified.
