XIIII. Responsum gemitus ad deum.
XIIII. Responsum gemitus ad deum.
And again, from that troubled cloud, I heard a voice addressing this image: "You are naked; why don't you blush for the fact that you have a blind and distorted life instead of that life in which there is no darkness of night?" In your ways, you surpass all justice and truth, yet you do not live a rational life. But I know that my earthly life is like a fleeting shadow, and I sigh for what is beyond, where I will never fail. Heavenly joys, and the delights of angels and spiritual happiness draw me toward them, yet I can't be satisfied by them, because I have a bond with them that I will never break.
