A fajtalanság ellen
Prayer for Purity of Body and Soul
A prayer asking God to quench the flames of unchastity and grant purity of body and soul, concluding with a doxology.
O God who loves purity, who sent a flood upon this world because of abominable wickedness to quench the flame of unchastity: look upon the frailty of the human body, and quench the power of evil passions with your holy grace; for without your gift and help, human weakness cannot remain pure. Do not allow, my God, that I defile my body, your temple, which you consecrated to yourself by receiving your pure and holy Body and Blood; but grant that I may serve you to the end in purity of body and soul: and that, having conquered the enemy within my own house and come to despise this world's pleasures, I may share in your joy, which surpasses every delight. Who live, &c. Amen.

Amen.
