The Structure of the Creed
The Apostles' Creed is organized into three parts corresponding to the work of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
How is the Creed divided? It's divided into three parts: the first deals with God the Father and our creation; the second with God the Son and our redemption; the third with God the Holy Spirit and our sanctification.
The Mystery of the Trinity
Though God is one, He reveals Himself as three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Why do you mention three: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, when God is one? Because God has revealed Himself in His Word in such a way that these three persons are distinguished, yet they are the one true and eternal God.
