De terre motu in terra Prussie.
The Earthquake in Prussia
A great earthquake shakes all of Prussia, toppling buildings and leaving the people unsteady, with the chronicler hinting at a deeper meaning yet to be revealed.
That same year, on the sixth of the Ides of August, around the third hour, there was an earthquake throughout the whole land of Prussia. Three times the earth was shaken along with its buildings, so that scarcely anyone could keep themselves from falling. What this unnatural shaking of the earth may have signified will become clear in what follows.
