Raid and Reprisal in Lubowie
Lethowinian brigands raid Lubowie, but are intercepted by brothers of Cristburgk who kill fifteen and rescue captives, while the rest escape.
That same year, fifty brigands from Lethowia entered the land of Lubowie. They had sent ahead one man who knew the Polish language so he could scout out the state of the land more thoroughly. When he came back and reported that no one had any knowledge of their coming, they plundered many villages, capturing and killing several Christians. But as they were withdrawing, they split into two groups. At one of these, brothers from Cristburgk came upon them and killed fifteen Lethowinians, rescuing fifty Christian men from their hands. The rest of the band of unbelievers got away.

Eodem anno quinquaginta viri de Lethowia latrunculi intraverunt terram Lubowie, qui premiserunt virum unum scientem linguam Polonicam, ut statum terre diligencius exploraret, et dum reversus diceret, quod nullus de adventu ipsorum aliquid" sciret, depredaverunt multas villas, captis et occisis pluribus Cristianis. Dum autem recederent, diviserunt se in duas turmasbl, ad quarum unam fratres de Cristburgk venientes, interfecerunt xv Lethowinos, et l homines Cristianos de ipsorum manibus eruerunt. Reliqua turba infidelium evasit.
