De desolacione terre Nadrowie.
The Desolation of Nadrowia
Though many glorious wars were waged against Nadrowia, the Nadrovians ultimately submitted to the faith and the brothers, leaving the land desolate to this day.
Many wars waged against this land of Nadrowia have been fought gloriously, and they are not written in this book, because it would be too tedious to relate all of them one by one. From there, the Nadrovians — although they still had great strength in armed men and more fortifications — nevertheless, laying aside all ferocity, submitted themselves to the faith and to the brothers, except for a few who entered the land of Lithuania; and so the aforesaid land of Nadrowia remains desolate to the present day.1

Notes
- 1 ↩The verb form 'deposila' is uncertain — possibly a scribal variant or deponent usage of depono. The translation assumes the sense 'having laid aside' based on context.
