The Castle on the Mountain and the Sudovian Sunday Massacre
A castle on a mountain in Kolm is described, and a Sudovian army surprises and slaughters villagers celebrating on a Sunday, carrying off women and children.
There was a certain castle in the land of Kolm, situated on a mountain called Warten bergk in the middle of a pond, drawing its name from that same mountain, in which brothers dwelt with many men-at-arms. And it happened one Sunday, when people from the neighboring villages were out enjoying themselves and dancing, that a certain army from Sudowia came upon them unexpectedly and killed all those people, carrying off with them the women and children.
