The Angelic Guide
The faithful call upon the Guardian Angel to remain a constant presence and guide for the soul.
Praise and exalt forever the King of Heaven, whom the hosts of angels hymn. Sent from God, strengthen my life—I who am your servant—O most good Angel, and do not leave me forever. Most blessed one, I sing of you forever as a good angel, the guide and guardian of my soul.
Shelter in the Day of Trial
A Trinitarian doxology leads into a petition for the Angel's protection during the final judgment.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Be for me a shelter and a bulwark on the day of the testing of all people, when good works and evil ones are tried by fire.1
Refuge in the Mother of God
The prayer concludes by seeking the help and stillness provided by the intercession of the Theotokos.
Now and always, and forever and ever. Amen.✦ Be for me a helper and a stillness, O Mother of God, Ever-Virgin, for your servant, and do not leave me deprived of your dominion.23

От Бо́га по́сланный, утверди́ живо́т мо́й, раба́ твоего́, преблаги́й А́нгеле, и не оста́ви мене́ во ве́ки.
А́нгела тя́ су́ща бла́га, души́ моея́ наста́вника и храни́теля, преблаже́нне, воспева́ю во ве́ки.
