O Lord, fill my heart with thankfulness, and I offer you my most humble and heartfelt thanks for the great deliverance from the rage and fury of the multitude. O Lord, let the same wings of your merciful protection be spread over me all the days of my life. O Lord, give me a faithful, patient, penitent, and persevering heart in your service, so that I may expect with comfort, daily and even hourly, when my changing shall come. So be it, Lord Jesus. Amen.
