Dear daughter, I teach you to love our Lord God with all your heart and with all your strength; for without this, no one can be worth anything, and nothing else can be loved so profitably. He is the Lord to whom every creature can say: Lord, you are my God, who have no need of any of my goods. This is the Lord who sent his blessed Son to earth and offered him up to death, so that he might deliver us from the pains of hell.
