The Life-Giving Spirit

The Holy Spirit is praised as the life-giving root of all creation who cleanses, heals, and raises all things.

Antiphon: The Holy Spirit, giving life, moving all things, and the root in every creature, washes all things from uncleanness, wiping away sins and anointing wounds, and thus is shining and a praiseworthy life, rousing and raising all things again.^✦^✦¹
