Chapter 72SymH.1.72

LXXII. O factura dei

The Humility of God in Human Flesh

The creature of God marvels that holy divinity pierced the heavens in humility and shone forth in earthly flesh, so that angels behold God in humanity.

O creature of God, you are a human being, built up in great holiness, because holy divinity in humility pierced the heavens. O how great a piety it is, that deity shone forth in the mud of the earth, and that angels ministering to God see God in humanity.

Read the original Latin

O factura dei, que es homo, in magna sanctitate edificata es, quia sancta divinitas in humilitate celos penetravit. O quam magna pietas est, quod in limo terre deitas claruit, et quod angeli deo ministrantes deum in humanitate vident.
