Hail, Noble Virgin
The virgin is greeted as glorious, untouched, chaste, holy, and pleasing to God.
Hail, noble one, glorious and untouched maiden. You are the very eye of chastity, you are the stuff of holiness, and you were pleasing to God.
The Word Took Flesh in Her
The heavenly Word took flesh in her, and she is the white lily God looked upon before all creation.
For this heavenly outpouring came into you: the heavenly Word took flesh in you. You are the white lily God looked upon before all creation.
God's Delight in the Mother of God
God delighted deeply in her, placing his warmth in her so that his Son nursed at her breast, and her womb held joy as the heavenly symphony sounded over her.
O most beautiful and sweetest one, how deeply God delighted in you, when he placed the embrace of his warmth in you, so that his Son nursed at your breast. For your womb held joy when all the heavenly symphony sounded over you, because as a virgin you carried the Son of God, where your chastity shone bright in God.
Joy Like Dew and the Church's Praise
Her womb held joy like grass refreshed by dew, and now the whole church is called to rejoice in symphony because of her.
Your womb held joy like grass on which the dew falls, pouring freshness upon it, and the same has happened in you, O mother of all joy. Now let the whole church glow with joy and ring out in symphony because of the sweetest and most praiseworthy virgin Mary, the mother of God.
