XIV. Cum processit factura (De sancta Maria)
The Creature Forth from God's Hand
A Marian antiphon celebrates creation's renewal through Mary, as the image of God rises from Adam's fall and the elements rejoice with heaven ablaze in praise.
Antiphon: When the creature made by the finger of God came forth, formed in the image of God, at the rising of blood mingled through the wandering of Adam's fall, the elements received the joys of life, O praiseworthy Mary, with heaven glowing red and resounding in praises.✦
