Psalm 99
A Call to Joyful Service
The faithful are invited to approach the presence of the Lord with gladness and a joyful spirit.
All the earth, rejoice in the Lord, both great and small. Serve the Lord always with joy, and be deeply glad at heart. Come into his presence with joy before his majesty; when you draw near to him, let your spirit rejoice.
The Creator and His People
We acknowledge that the Lord is our Creator and worthy of all honor, as we did not make ourselves.
You must realize that the Lord our God is worthy of all honor. He created us—think about what that means—and we did not create ourselves.
Praise for Eternal Faithfulness
The faithful are encouraged to enter God's gates with song and praise, celebrating His enduring mercy and truth.
Enter his gates with praise and song. Praise him, his little sheep, and give him thanks. Always proclaim his name with melody. Praise his name, for God is good. His gracious mercy endures forever; his faithfulness reaches every generation and always remains strong.

Never lose the rhythm again
Chosen Portion delivers your morning, midday and night office to your phone — the Hours, without the bells.
Chosen Portion is a modern Book of Hours: it turns the fixed-hour structure this collection preserves into scheduled, tappable daily prayer on your phone.
- Three daily prayer moments scheduled around your real calendar, not a monastery's
- Psalms and historic prayers sequenced for you — no page-flipping or decision fatigue
- A visible streak of completed offices, so the rhythm compounds instead of collapsing
