On the Judgment of the Deceased
The Virgin Mary instructs the brother to leave the judgment of Pope John XXII to God while affirming the validity of his teachings on poverty.
Tell that brother, my friend, that you aren't allowed to know whether the soul of Pope John XXII... ...is in hell or in heaven. Nor is it permitted for you to know anything about the sins that the same pope took with him when, after his death, he came before the judgment of God. But tell that brother that the decretals Pope John issued or established regarding the poverty of Christ contain no error against the Catholic faith, nor any heresy.
The Tunic of Christ
Mary reflects on the single possession of her Son, the tunic she made for him, and the sorrow she felt knowing it would be taken during his Passion.
I, who gave birth to the true God himself, bear witness that my son, Jesus Christ, had one thing that was his own, and that he alone possessed. For this was the tunic that I made with my own hands. The prophet bears witness to this in the person of my Son, saying: 'They cast lots for my clothing.' Notice, though, that he didn't say 'our clothing,' but 'my clothing.' You should also know that whenever I dressed him in that tunic for the comfort of his most holy body, my eyes would immediately fill with tears, and my whole heart would be wrung with trouble and pain, afflicted by an intense bitterness. I knew well how that tunic would eventually be taken from my Son—specifically during his passion, when he would be stripped naked and, though innocent, crucified by the Jews. This tunic was the very garment over which those who crucified him cast lots, and no one in his lifetime ever wore it but he alone.
On Heresy and the Priesthood
Mary warns against those who deny the authority of the Pope, the priesthood, and the Eucharist, while offering hope for those who repent.
Know also that anyone who says the Pope isn't the true Pope, or that priests aren't true priests and properly ordained, or that the true Body of my blessed Son isn't what is consecrated by priests during the Mass—all those who assert such errors are puffed up by the spirit of the infernal devil. Because those same heretics have truly committed such grave malice and horrific sins against God, they have been filled with the greatest diabolical wickedness on account of their own demerits; through their heresy, they have been damnable, cut off and cast out from the number of the flock of all Christendom in the judgment of the justice of the divine majesty, just as Judas was excluded and cut off from the sacred number of the apostles on account of his own most wicked demerits, because he betrayed Christ, my Son. Know, however, that everyone who truly wants to change their life will receive mercy from God.
