The Grace of the Holy Sepulchre

Christ promises complete forgiveness and spiritual renewal to those who visit the Holy Sepulchre with a sincere heart and a firm purpose of amendment.

The Son said to his bride, "When you entered my temple, dedicated by my blood, you were cleansed of all your sins, just as if you had been lifted then from the font of baptism." Because of your labors and devotion, some of the souls of your relatives who were in purgatory have been set free today and have entered into heaven in my glory. For all who come to this place with a perfect will to amend themselves according to their best conscience, and who have no desire to fall back into their former sins, all their past sins are completely forgiven, and grace is increased in them to make progress.
