Chapter 4Revel.6.4

The Stewardship of Divine Wisdom

The Lord defines the three essential virtues required of those who possess the gold of divine wisdom.

Anyone who possesses the gold of their Lord’s wisdom is bound to do three things. First, they must distribute it to those who want it, and furthermore, offer it to those who don't. Second, they must be patient and moderate. Third, they must be reasonable and fair in how they distribute it. The person who possesses these virtues is the one who holds my gold—that is, my wisdom. For what is more precious among metals than gold? Likewise, there is nothing in the Scriptures more worthy than my wisdom.

The Boldness of the Lord's Soldier

The Lord commands his messenger to preach boldly, endure insults with patience, and distribute grace impartially.

I have filled the person you are praying for with this wisdom, so he must boldly preach my words as my soldier; he should speak of my grace not only to those who want to hear him, but even to those who don't. Second, let him be patient for my name's sake, knowing that he has a Lord who heard every insult. Third, I say he must be impartial in distributing, treating the poor just as he treats the rich.

The Reward of Divine Presence

The Lord promises his protection and his own self as the eternal reward for those who labor in his name.

Let them spare no one and fear no one, because I am in them and they are in me. Who will harm them, when I, the Almighty, am within them and outside them? I will give them a precious reward for their labor—not anything physical or earthly, but Myself, in whom is every good and in whom is all abundance.

Nulli parcat, nullum vereatur, quia ego sum in eo et ipse in me.
