The Suffering of the Son
The Mother prepares the bride to witness the profound suffering of the Son, who endured agony in every limb to satisfy for human sin.
The Mother spoke: "Clothe yourself, bride of my Son, and stand firm, for my Son is drawing near to you." His flesh was crushed as if in a winepress. For just as humanity sinned in every member, so my Son himself made satisfaction in every one. My Son's hair was pulled taut, his nerves stretched, his joints pulled from their sockets, his bones mangled, and his hands and feet pierced. His mind was troubled, his heart was overwhelmed with grief, and his insides were drawn back toward his spine, because humanity had sinned in every limb.
The Heavenly Testimony
The Son calls upon the angels, prophets, his Mother, and the apostles to bear witness to his divinity, his works, and his humanity.
Then the Son spoke, with the heavenly host standing by, and said: "Even though you know all things in Me, I speak nonetheless for the sake of this bride of Mine who stands here." I ask you, angels: tell me, what is it that existed without a beginning and will exist without an end? And what is it that created all things and was created by no one? Speak up and bear witness! The angels answered with one voice, saying, "Lord, You are the One." For we bear witness to You regarding three things: First, that you are our Creator and the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. Second, because you have no beginning and will have no end, your dominion and your power are eternal. For without you nothing has been made, and without you nothing can be made. Third, we testify that we see all justice and everything that has been done and will be done in you, and that all things exist in your foreknowledge without beginning and without end. Then He said to the prophets and patriarchs, "I ask you: Who led you out of slavery into freedom?" Who parted the water before you? Who gave you the law? Who gave you prophets the spirit of speech?" They answered Him, "You, Lord." You led us out of slavery. You gave us the law. You stirred our spirit to speak." Then He said to His mother, "Give your testimony to the truth you know about Me." She answered, "Before the angel you sent came to me, I was alone with my body and soul." But once the angel’s word was spoken, your body was within me, with your divinity and humanity, and I felt your body within my own. I carried you without pain, and I gave birth to you without distress. I wrapped you in swaddling clothes, and I fed you with my milk. I was with you from your birth until your death. Then the Lord said to the apostles, "Tell me, who is the one you have seen, heard, and felt?" They answered, "We've heard your words and written them down." We've heard of your mighty works: when you gave the new law, when you commanded the demons with a word and they left, and when with a word you raised the dead and healed the sick. We saw you in a human body. We saw your great works in divine glory, alongside your humanity. We saw you handed over to your enemies and hanging on the wood of the cross. We saw in you the most bitter passion, and you laid in the tomb. We felt you when you rose again. We have touched your hair and your face. We have touched your limbs and the places of your wounds. You ate with us and shared your words with us. You truly are the Son of God and the son of the Virgin. We also felt it when you ascended to the right hand of the Father in your humanity, where you are forever.
The Testimony of the Fallen
Even the unclean spirits are compelled to acknowledge the Son's power and his victory over hell.
Then God said to the unclean spirits, "Even though you hide the truth in your conscience, I command you nonetheless to say who has diminished your power." They answered Him, "Just as thieves won't tell the truth unless their feet are weighed down by heavy wood, so we wouldn't tell the truth either, unless compelled by Your divine and terrible power." You are the one who descended into hell with your strength. You have diminished our power in the world. You have reclaimed your right from hell.
The Contradiction of Humanity
The Lord laments that while the spiritual realm bears witness, humanity rejects the truth, leading to a crisis of faith and discernment.
Then the Lord said, "Look at all those who have spirit and are not clothed in a body; they bear witness to the truth for me." But those who have both spirit and body—that is, human beings—contradict me. Some know, but they don't care. Others don't know. That is why they don't care, but instead say that everything is false." He said again to the angels, "They claim your testimony is false, arguing that I am not the Creator and that not everything is known within Me." That is why they love the creature more than Me." To the prophets, however, He says: "They contradict you, claiming that the Law is vanity, that you were delivered by your own strength and cleverness, that the Spirit was false, and that you spoke only out of your own will." He says to the Mother: "Some people claim you weren't a virgin, others that I didn't take my body from you, and others know the truth but don't care." However, he says to the apostles: "They contradict you because they call you liars, and say the new law is useless and irrational." There are others who believe it's true, but they don't care. Now, therefore, I ask you: who will judge these people?"
Judgment and Mercy
The heavenly witnesses call for judgment upon a wicked world, but the Lord offers one final period of mercy before justice is served.
They all answered Him, "You are God, who have no beginning and no end." You, Jesus Christ, who are with the Father. The judgment has been given to You by the Father; You are the judge of these people." The Lord answered: "I, who once lamented over them, am now their judge; yet, even though I have all power and all knowledge, you must still render your own judgment upon them!" They answered Him, "Just as the whole world perished in the waters of the flood at the beginning of time, so now the world is worthy to perish by fire, because iniquity and injustice abound more now than they did then." The Lord answered: "Because I am just and merciful, and I don't exercise judgment without mercy, nor do I show mercy without justice, I will therefore send my mercy to the world one more time, for the sake of the prayers of my Mother and my saints." But if they refuse to listen, a much more severe justice will follow."
Read the original Latin
Mater loquebatur: "Vesti te, sponsa filii mei, et sta stabilis, quia appropinquat tibi filius meus.
Caro eius fuit pressa quasi in torculari. Sicut enim in omnibus membris homo deliquit, sic ipse filius meus in omnibus satisfecit.
Crines filii mei erant extenti, nerui distenti, iuncture extracte de compaginibus, ossa laniata, manus et pedes confixe. Mens turbabatur, cor dolore afficiebatur, intestina ad dorsum contrahebantur, quia in omnibus membris peccauit homo."
Deinde loquebatur filius, astante celesti exercitu, et ait: "Licet omnia sciatis in me, tamen propter istam sponsam meam, que astat, loquor.
Ego portaui te sine dolore, peperi sine angustia. Ego inuolui te pannis, paui te lacte meo. Ego fui tecum a natiuitate usque ad mortem."
Nos vidimus te in humano corpore.
Tu minuisti potestatem nostram in mundo.
Ideo diligunt magis creaturam quam me."
