The Sorrow of the Savior
Christ laments how humanity misuses His creation and continues to crucify Him through sin, yet He desires their love over their fear.
I am God, who created all things for the benefit of humanity, so that all those things might serve humanity and build them up. But humanity misuses everything I created for their benefit, turning it to their own harm. Furthermore, they care less about God and show Him less love than they do for created things. The Jews inflicted three kinds of suffering upon me during my Passion: first, the wood, to which I was nailed, scourged, and crowned; second, the iron, with which they pierced my hands and feet; and third, the drink of gall, with which they gave me to drink. Then they blasphemed me, calling me a fool for the death I willingly endured, and they called me a liar because of my teaching. Such people have multiplied in the world today, and few bring me any consolation. For they nail me to the wood through their desire to sin, and they scourge me through their impatience, because no one can bear a single word on my behalf. And they crown me with the thorns of their pride, by which they want to be seen as higher than I am. They pierce my hands and feet with the iron of their hardness, because they boast of their sin and harden themselves so that they don't fear me. Instead of gall, they offer me trouble; and for the passion I so gladly endured, they call me a liar and a fool. I have the power to drown them and the whole world because of their sins, if I wanted to. If I were to drown them, those who remained would serve me only out of fear; but that wouldn't be justice, because a person ought to serve me out of love.
The Mercy of the Mother
Christ expresses His willingness to die for humanity again, and at the intercession of the Virgin Mary, He promises mercy once more.
If, however, I were to come among them in person and be visible, their eyes wouldn't be able to bear the sight of me, nor their ears the sound of me. After all, how could a mortal human being possibly look upon the Immortal? Yet, out of love, I would still gladly die for humanity again, if it were possible. Then the blessed Virgin Mary appeared, to whom the Son said, "What do you want, my mother, my chosen one?" She replied, "Have mercy on your creature, my Son, for the sake of your love!" He answered, "I will show mercy one more time for your sake."
The Dwelling of the Divine
The Lord invites the bride to prepare her heart as a dwelling place for Him, characterized by rest, stability, and faith.
Then the Lord spoke to his bride, saying, "I am your God and the Lord of the angels." I am the Lord of life and death. I want to dwell in your heart myself. Look at how great a love I have for you! The heavens and the earth and everything in them cannot contain me, and yet I want to live in your heart, which is nothing but a small piece of flesh. Who, then, could you fear, or what could you lack, when you have the all-powerful God within you, in whom is every good? Therefore, in your heart—my dwelling place—there should be three things: a bed where we can rest, a seat where we can sit, and a light by which we can be enlightened. In your heart, then, let there be a bed of rest or quiet, so that you can rest from the wicked thoughts and desires of the world. And always keep eternal joy in mind! The seat must be the willingness to remain with me, even if it happens that you sometimes have to leave. It’s against nature to always be standing. A person is always standing if they always desire to be with the world and never to sit with me. Your light, or lamp, must be faith, by which you believe that I can do all things and am almighty over all.

Iudei fecerunt michi tria genera penarum in passione mea: primo lignum, quo affixus sum et flagellatus et coronatus; secundo ferrum, quo affixerunt manus meas et pedes; tercio potum fellis, quo potauerunt me. Deinde blasphemabant me fatuum esse propter mortem, quam libenter sustinebam, et vocabant me mendacem propter doctrinam meam.
Tales nunc in mundo multiplicati sunt et pauci faciunt michi consolacionem. Nam affigunt me ligno per voluntatem peccandi, flagellant me per impacienciam, quia unum verbum pro me nullus ferre potest. Pro felle offerunt michi tribulacionem, pro passione, ad quam letus iui, dicunt me mendacem et fatuum. Ego enim potens sum submergere eos et totum mundum propter peccata sua, si vellem. Et tunc, si submergerem eos, illi, qui remanerent, seruirent michi ex timore, sed hoc non esset iusticia, quia ex caritate deberet michi homo seruire.
Si autem personaliter venirem inter eos visibilis, oculi eorum non sustinerent videre me nec aures audire me. Quomodo enim homo mortalis posset videre immortalem? Adhuc quippe ex caritate libenter iterum morerer pro homine, si esset possibile."
Tunc apparuit beata virgo Maria, cui dixit filius: "Quid vis, mater mea, electa mea?" Et ait illa: "Miserere creature tue, fili mi, propter caritatem tuam!" Et ille respondit: "Adhuc semel misericordiam faciam propter te."
Deinde loquebatur Dominus ad sponsam suam dicens: "Ego sum Deus tuus et Dominus angelorum. Ego sum Dominus super mortem et vitam. Ego idem volo habitare in corde tuo. Ecce, quantam caritatem habeo ad te!
Celi et terra et omnia, que in eis sunt, non possunt capere me et tamen in corde tuo, quod non est nisi modicum frustum carnis, habitare volo. Quem ergo tunc poteris timere quibusue indigere, cum tu habeas intra te potentissimum Deum, in quo est omne bonum?
Ergo in corde, quod est habitaculum meum, debent esse tria: lectus, in quo requiescamus, sedes, in qua sedeamus, lumen, quo illuminemur. In corde igitur tuo sit lectus quiescendi seu quietudinis, ut quiescas a prauis cogitacionibus et desideriis mundi. Et semper considera gaudium eternum!
Sedes debet esse voluntas manendi mecum, eciam si quandoque contingat excedere. Contra naturam enim est semper stare. Ille namque semper stat, qui semper habet voluntatem essendi cum mundo et numquam sedere mecum. Lux, seu lumen, debet esse fides, qua credas me omnia posse et omnipotentem esse super omnia."
